Product Description

If you're looking for a diaphragm pump that is suitable for agricultural spraying and transferring applications that require flows up to 4 GPM, the SHURflo 12-Volt DC Electric Diaphragm Pump (2088-343-500) is a great choice.

Capable of delivering high performance in many low pressure applications, this SHURflo 12-volt bypass diaphragm pump can be used in operations where the motor is constantly stopped and started. The internal bypass design on this SHURflo 3-chamber diaphragm pump allows it to pump at a low pressure with a low flow rate (bypass pumps require the use of a relief valve or regulator, and we recommend using the TeeJet 23120A-1/2-PP Poly Regulator).

Internal Viton valves ensure the SHURflo 2088-343-500 Bypass Diaphragm Pump is more than capable of handling the pumping of general use agricultural chemicals, such as herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, fertilizers, de-icing materials, and more.

It is highly recommended to use the AA122-1/2-PP-16 Line Strainer with this bypass pump because it filters out contaminates that may run through the pump and damage it.

  1. Shurflo pump does the job 5 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Jan 2014

This is a heavy duty industrial grade pump. It takes a licking and keeps on ticking. The field technicians let these pumps sit with unused pesticide in them for months at a time in the off season and they continue to work with no problems. They last for several years before needing repair. Install a new diaphragm kit and your good to go.

** Thank you for the excellent review! It should be noted that Rittenhouse does not recommend unused pesticides or chemicals be left inside pumps or equipment when they are not in use.
