SHURflo 8000 Diaphragm Pump - 12 VDC - 8000-543-290

This SHURflo 12-Volt DC Electric Diaphragm Pump (8000-543-290) is a low pressure, 3-chamber diaphragm pump that is perfect for intermittent duty applications, spot sprayers, and transfer applications where a smooth, steady flow is required.

The internal bypass design on the SHURflo 8000-543-290 Electric Diaphragm Pump allows it to pump at a low pressure with a low flow rate (bypass pumps require a relief valve or regulator, and we recommend using the TeeJet 23120A-1/2-PP Poly Regulator). Internal bypass pumps accommodate applications that have external pressure valves plumbed into the system, and work great in applications where automatic demand switches aren't needed.

With its Viton valves and wetted polypropylene materials, this SHURflo Bypass Diaphragm Pump will easily handle the pumping of many common agricultural chemicals; for instance, herbicides, pesticides, insecticides, fertilizers, de-icing materials, and other hard-to-handle fluids.

It is highly recommended to use the AA122-1/2-PP-16 Line Strainer with this bypass pump because it filters out contaminates that may run through the pump and damage it.
